He tells me-he likes me but isn't ready. Should I wait or move on?

well like, i have a problem i need help with...there is this guy who i really like and he just got out of a relationship 5 months ago with this girl he was going out with for 2 years. We have been hangin out since the break up he tells me he likes me but isnt ready. i mean i understand that. but we have been hooken up. he has let me meet and hang with all of his friends but isnt saying we are hooken up he says we are just friends...And he always says that i need to do what makes me happy..so i thought maybe i should date and see what else is out there.so i told him and he said it would hurt him but he will live..then i said he could lose me and he said it has happend before..i dont no what to do...i want to be with him but i dont no if i can wait...What can i do Help!!!Please

willywombat agony auntYou have to respect his wishes and just be his friend. If you are unable to do this then move away from him and get another set of friends.

I can tell you this though, chances are if you weren't so readily available and obvious in your need for him, he would miss you like crazy and come running. Good luck x
