ok so i'm really stupid when it comes to love....i've been talking to this guy off and on for about 7 months now and I think that i am falling in love with him. Problem is that sometimes he will hint around that he is falling for me and then after he says it he will stop talking to me and avoid me at all cost. I can not seem to stop thinking about him and i know that we are good together i just don't know what to think about his behavior should i say the hell with it or should i give him the benefit of the doubt and just assume he is scared of he's feelings for me.

OhGetReal agony auntThere really isn't enough information to answer your question. I don't know what talking to a guy for 7 months means? Are you exclusively dating/sleeping with each other, just friends, what?

If you love him and you want to tell him then tell him.

I don't understand how he can hint that he loves you...it's pretty direct....I Love You...those are the three little words you are waiting to hear.

Should you throw in the towel? If you want to know where you stand then 7 months is long enough to wait to find out. Don't be afraid to simply ask him then accept the answer. If it isn't what you want to hear, then yes you are wasting you time and it's best to know that up front.
