More than just good friends?

I have this really good friend and I have known him for 5 years. At the moment we are in different countries and we only stay in contact through facebook. I have had feelings for him for long. So on April fools day I said that I loved him. I told him I wasn't joking he said he has always seen me as just as a friend. But lately I have been gettig a feeling that he likes me as more than a friend. He calls me hot, cute and sweet. He also says sweet stuff like "I will always be their for you" and he is happy if I am happy. And through people I found out that he only is sweet with me and doesn't talk to much girls. I was kidding around with him and told him we would make an awful couple, but he go all serious and he was like no we would make am awesome couple and stuff. but he says he is young for an relationship but does that mean he has feelings for me? should we have a long distant relationship?

petina1 agony auntSounds like you can get to know each other better and see how it pans out. Long distance relationships are very hard at the best of times. If it's meant to be then you can make it happen. In the meantime get to know all you can about him. Good luck
