writes:Hi everyone, i am 18 and have been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years. I love him very much and always have, we`ve had our ups and downs but are still together. He is the first and only person i have ever slept with. However he never says "I love you" just "love you", and recently he gets annoyed about things like football and has started saying he doesn`t believe in love and all he wants in life is sex. Does this mean he doesn`t care about me and our relationship anymore? I'm confused about what to think. Any help or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks Reply to this Question

However I think he just said quite plainly that he doesnt love you. Do you want to be with someone who only wants you physically???

 Well at least he knows what he wants in life, he has a goal. It's your call whether you want to wait him out and see if his goals change. But FYI, football has been known to annoy the hell out of me on occassion.

This means mentally he is unprepared for the world of relationships. If all he wants is sex, chances are he didn't really love you in the first place anyway. Best to move on now before you get really hurt.
