A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Was travelling home in the bus. I saw a guy who has started being friendly with me. I am usually quiet and reserved but I always greet people in a friendly way. Today , as I was getting off at my stop, he poked me in the side of my belly and smiled. He did this more than once.

What does that mean?

Ps: He doesnt poke other women, only touch their things and throw jokes at them.

aunt honesty agony auntI would hate if a guy done this to me. I think you should stay clear off him, no guy should feel he has the right to poke a girl he doesn't even know, let alone touch other girls things. He sounds creepy to me as well.

CindyCares agony aunt It means that, while his chronological age may be the same as yours, his mental age has stayed at 2nd or 3rd grade level when , to signal attraction, you poke the girl, or pinch her, or pull her braids.

You basically do not even know each other, and he pokes you in your belly ?... Weird, and rude. Maybe his elementary teacher never

told him " Children, we speak with our words, not with our hands ".

Honeypie agony auntI think that is creepy behavior. He is "invading" your person and personal space - how is that "cute"?

If he wants your attention he can open his mouth and talk.

I don't know why you think you have to put up with that.
