A female , anonymous writes:

i've been invited to this guy's house tomorrow night but he lives in essex and i live in north london which is about 40 minutes drive and he's invited me to see his new house. I really like him but do you think that by me going there and making such an effort he will have less respect for me than asking him to meet me half way or getting him to pick me up from my house? This is like a first date afterall.

ive snogged him a few times in the past but nothing came of it and he didnt call or ask me out again, but now he has and im worried if i go hes going to assume i am easy, or am i being old fashioned that a guy should make more of an effort and come to me? please help i dont know if i should go or not!

what should i do?

you're thinking too much into this. it's like you're expecting to have sex just by going to his house. granted, he could pick you up ... but, why waste gas if he doesn't have to. :)

Thomas17 agony auntHello,

what i suggest is that you don't go over.. its just a little weird for a girl to go over a guy's house for a first date you know? should be the other way around..heh

then again, he might have a surprise for you right?

why not ask him to pick you up? well that means 80 minutes drive for him .

lastly, you are not being easy for going over, its good actually. most of the girls where i live are playing hard to get, mostly just flirting.

and you are not being old fashioned, its just the right thing for a guy to do, or what a gentleman would do.

i'd say follow your heart yea?

have fun for your date!
