Question - (6 August 2015) 3 Answers - (Newest, 7 August 2015)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I met a guy at work... We went on a date and hit it off. I was a little worried that his friends at work would put ideas in his head.

I expressed how i felt more than once and he told me I was becoming annoying with it. I back off a little bit..

There was a barbeque that I wasn't invited to and he went and told everyone not to invite me.

After that he started to act different towards me and I do like him. What should I do?

Ciar agony auntNothing. There is nothing for you to do here.

I suspect you may have come on a bit strong or seemed a bit needy/clingy and he was put off by it.

He's not interested and wants as much space between you as possible, so I say give it to him.

Write this one off and move on.

Sageoldguy1465 agony auntDon't waste your time with this guy. His signals - that he isn't much interested in you - are pretty clear....

Good luck...

Honeypie agony auntLeave him be, he isn't interested.

And in the future... don't use your workplace as a dating pool because WHEN things don't work out (like in this case) things can get awkward and uncomfortable.
