He likes me a lot and vice-versa, and we have a great deal in common. In short, its going very well indeed. We have not become sexually involved yet, but this will probably happen within the next few months (we are LDR but meet often enough). The thing is he told me he is quite large (well-endowed). I know that women of my age tend to experience vaginal shrinkage - but I understand there are topical creams a gynecologist can prescribe to help with this (I think a local testostorone cream) and a good lubricant. He has told me he is not circumcised - he was happy when I said that's not an issue for me (though I have no experience of any man who isn't). We talked about the possibilities and he did ask if we have difficulties then would mutual oral sex be something I'd go for, and I said yes, I would. I think I can be fairly confident of mutual patience and understanding - if the overall "tone" of our relationship is any guide.I'll have to talk to my doctor. But, my only other experience with a "large" (in terms of length) man was some years ago, and not good. I tried using hand cream, but even the very beginning stage of penetration was impossible (we didn't have a very good relationship anyway, and that effectively ended it. Can't say I was too sorry). In more recent years I have not had a problem with a previous bf who was "average."I realize this is a lot of detail, but would really appreciate if anyone has any good tips or advice to offer!

I responded that I'd requested feedback, NOT disrespect! Grrr.......anyway, that answer was removed......well I might be mistaken about the "shrinkage" thing; its more that a woman can get very dry down there, so a good lubricant and lots of foreplay, being relaxed and going with the flow is the best way to proceed without getting stressed if things aren't perfect to begin with......i.e., explore one another's bodies and get comfortable......I think the experience I mentioned kind of "burned" me......but that is past history, and we're supposed to learn from stuff like that.......I'm one of the "aunts" on here, so I always tell folk to think about what went wrong in a relationship that ended, so as to learn from it, for future bf/gfs........

reader, anonymous, writes (31 October 2010): I think its good you talk about it so much before actually doing it...unusual, but good. Just have him use lots of lube (proper stuff, not hand creme), go slow and give you a lot of foreplay. Even average or above average guys can have difficulty if a woman is not "prepped" well.
