Have you ever fancied/had a crush on anyone you shouldn't, such as a teacher, your boss, etc?

I kinda fancy my teacher, but I'm not doing anything about it. I know it'll go wrong somehow.

So, I just wanted to know if anyone else has been through a similar situation.

I started fancying my Biology teacher (oo-er, sounds wrong already) just a few weeks ago actually. I've had him as my teacher since September, and about a month ago he found out I was English (I've lived in France for the last 2 years). He's actually being really really nice to me, and it's not just because I'm English, and he said in front of the whole class I was "a really nice girl" (cringe) and everyone thinks I'm his teacher's pet. And once no one else is in the classroom, like when he wanted to see me after class to borrow my folder, or at parents' evening, he was really nice. So yeahh, complicated.

As I said, I'm not doing anything about this though, because even though I think it's not against the law to go out with a teacher in France (someone asked on Yahoo Answers and loads of people replied yes and some people replied no), but it'll just be embarrassing for both of us. And my life would be OVER!

oneFOOTwrong is verified as being by the original poster of the question

oneFOOTwrong agony auntOn Friday, when we normally have biology, I wasn't there, and Mr B (the teacher) was doing the register, he got to my name and my friends said "She's in England at the moment" (I'm English and live in France), and everyone in my class has been telling me he said, "Emma's not here today? Damn it." and we have this new girl in our class, and she had to choose a place, and she took my place, and she asked if it was ok, and Mr B said, "No, that's Emma's place." and she took this other guy's place (he wasn't at school that day either) and he said "Yeah, you can take that place." Everyone who has MSN in my class and who I've talked to over this weekend has been telling me about it.

And last week he wanted to borrow my biology folder, and he left it on my desk after lunch, and he left a note in there saying "Thank You" (in English).

Everyone thinks I'm his teacher's pet. Everytime one particular friend thinks she's found proof of this she gives me a very weird look. My other friend thinks that Mr B fancies me, and everytime he sees me and my friend he smiles at us, and stares. Luckily, my friend's quite feisty and says "SERIOUSLY MR B, WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT US? IT'S QUITE ANNOYING!" and he goes into his class room.

He's in his 20s or 30s.

But as I said, I'm not doing anything about it, I'm not dumb, and it's just a phase, one day I'll probably have a laugh about it with my friends and go, "What did I ever see in him?" :D

maddierose agony auntOh goodness where do I start....

My brother's best mate who was much older than me.

My teacher - it was awfully painful and by far the worst

A married man - A friendship that ended very badly indeed

A friends boyfriend - Painful

My married neighbor - Short lived but still weird

And Most recently a guy that is so much older than me

I am the queen of being attracted to people out of my reach, no doubt when I get a job I'll fancy my boss because I'm just that way inclined...

But when it comes to liking a teacher I've been there, joined the club, got the T-shit and the mug and the keyring and was eventually kicked out of the club for bad behaviour!! Lol so if you need to talk top anyone about it feel free to message me :D x

Ive liked my best mates girlfriend (before and during their relationship)

As for liking your teacher you should see how many people come here about fancying their teacher quite easily hundreds

Crushes are fun but with teacher they should not be acted upon as you are doing. Enjoy the crush but as you are keep it a crush

Do a search for the word "teacher" in the little box at the top of the dearcupid.org home page.

You will see there are litterally THOUSANDS of girls in love with their teachers.

There are so many "i love my teacher, this isn't a crush, I am in love!!!" questions that most of them not get rejected.

Good Luck!! xx
