Have I missed the bus? Hi I'm a fifty year old from rural England who is at the end of a relationship that has not worked for the last few years, the thing is I feel as though I won't find a woman for love at my point in life, I'm getting quite low over this issue as I yearn for the right woman to love.any thoughts anyone?

Possibly but don't expect it to happen any time soon. I am 40 and been single four years living in a semi-rural area (I am four miles from a town of some 100,000 people) and am always out and about doing stuff and nothing doing yet.

A female reader, eyeswideopen United States +, writes (29 July 2014):

eyeswideopen agony auntYou just need to get out there and be visible and involved. I know that may difficult if you are in a very rural setting but you need to do what you can to meet new people. There are many people your age who find themselves starting their love lives all over. Be patient and persistent, just keep plugging away, she'll turn up eventually.
