A male Brazil age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Its been 3 months my ex broke up with me. I still think about him EVERY day, i miss him a lot.

We were a gay couple. Together for 10 months.

Right after we broke up, i tried talking to him about we being a great couple, that we couldnt finish something so great. We are 2 handsome guys, masculine, just normal guys. I admit its really hard to find someone like my ex. He said he made that decision, and wouldnt go back. I decided to cut contact with him.

A few days after that, he started calling me every 3 days, asking me how i was, wanting to talk, etc, asking me to call him too!

After a week like this, i decided to cut the crap and ask him if thats what he really wanted. I opened up and said i really missed him. He continued saying that he wouldnt go back.

I cut contact again, but he would talk to me everytime on AIM. One day, he was on and i put a fake message pretending i was seeing someone. He was furios and blocked me on AIM.

One month later, he called. We had a really long conversation, catching up. He said some things like: in 2 days it would be our 12 month anniversary. I pretty much just ignored, it felt as if he was poking me.I asked if he wanted to meet and have a drink. He AGAIN said no, so I told him i really liked him and wished him all the best, but didnt want him to call me again because that was making it hard for me to move on.

I KNOW he misses me, its pretty clear that he isnt sure about breaking up with me. But i DONT know what to do to get him back. I know there are other fish in the sea, but not in the gay scene, specially where i live!

I really miss him. Should i continue trying to get him back? Should I start calling him? I havent done anything serious in the past to him! Never cheated, never was too jealous.. What should I do??

I know the right answer is to move on, but is there anything I can do to get him back?

Thanx for the replies girls. I think i'll keep ignoring him a little longer. I've been working out since we broke up, just got a new car, new high paying job.

I hope he gets to see ive been improving, and regrets his decision. I also hope that I wont have any feelings left for him when that happens hehehe. Thanx!!

i know how you feel, most of my friends went tro this too...

he best way to get someone back is to see them in person, just find out where he'll be at this friday at 2:00... well just show and talk to him, make it look like a coincidence tho... or you can ignore him for a while... if you havent noticed he talked to you only after he was being ignored, so ignore him for a little bit longer and then try to see how you can talk to him in person without him knowing you porpously did it.

it always works for my friends
