Found some explicit stuff on my future brother in law's computer! Should I tell my sister?

A male Canada, anonymous writes:

My sister and I live together. She's been dating her boss in secret for over a year now. He is currently going through a divorce, during the process of which he moved in with us. Both have left relationships in order to be together. He can't wait to ask her to marry him. Circumstances have prevented him from doing so. I really like him and think he's a great guy. I would be delighted to have him as a brother-in-law.

I can't talk to anyone about this and I am worried that I might have "horse blinders" and not see everything. Today - against better judgment - I went through his personal hard drive on the computer. Amongst the porn (which is to be expected on a guy's computer) were numerous provocative photos of a french singer. She looks surprisingly a lot like my sister. This rubbed me the wrong way. I know I shouldn't have snooped. A red flag went up in my mind.

A male reader, maxsteel86 United Kingdom +, writes (5 April 2007):

maxsteel86 agony auntIts no big deal. So he has a thing for the singer, its not like he's doing anything with her right? So it doesn't seem like there's much to tell anyway. A question though, why did you bring up your sister seeing her boss in secret? That seems pretty unrelated to the little problem you just discovered.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (5 April 2007):

I don't think that there is any danger there. As you said, he is a typical guy. This french singer, is all the way in france or someplace, it's just him being a guy.

Now, if he over indulges in these types of stuff, then maybe he might be addicted. It does not seem like he is addicted. I would say there is nothing to worry about here. Hope that this helps.
