writes:my partner and i have been together for a year. when i met her she was renting out a house to her ex girlfriend and also her ex had taken over vehicle payments on a leased car. my problem with it all is that my girlfriend wont stop helping her out because she says she feels bad for how she treated her in their relationship. Now she recently moved her into another home because payments on the other house were too much so my girldriend moved her into another of her cheaper rental homes. they constantly call each other for help or favors and i just dont know what to make of it since they dont have a healthy frienship and are constantly bickering at each other. i just dont know what to think anymore and she says theres nothing going on other than her helping her out.

reader, anonymous, writes (1 March 2009): Maybe you can sit down and talk to her about it? It sounds as though she should move on from her ex, but if she isnt willing to do that then it maybe a fact you will have to live with that. To me it looks as though it is nothing more than helping her out, if something was going on romantically I would think they would not have a bickering/unhealthy friendship.
