Dont want to chase after him but should i?

i went to a party over a week ago and met a boy there. we kissed that night and when i got home, he messaged me saying how he really enjoyed it and wanted to see me again but i went on holiday for a week after that. We spoke but it was really hard as we were both busy. Then a couple of nights ago, when i arrived home, i went to a party with my friend but at the party I got bored and upset so i went to his house. I stayed the night and we did everything else sexual apart from sex. Since then, he's been hard to talk to.. i asked him if he was in a mood because of me and he said no, it was something else. He still seems interested but really one sided or like he's used me. I've been used before though and don't know wether im jumping to conclusions. That night he told me he really liked me and that he's never been so passionate with a girl. I dont know what to do, shall i just let him come to me as he might need his space? please help..
