writes:today.. we kissed with my boyfriend, we really love each other but there is a problem my boyfriend has braces, he had a headgear before we were friends, now just braces. well in a week Im having braces 2!!!! WITH RUBBER BANDS!! :( does anyone have one? i told him and he said it will not a problem :/ but he don't know that i will get braces with rubber band.! :( please someone help me how can i kiss with rubber bands? does it hurts? :(( *braces-lady*

reader, anonymous, writes (13 July 2010): thank you so much guys =)) i feelin' really better now! :) so i called my boyfriend, and told that i will get braces with rubber band, he said it could never be a problem and that he loves me what ever i get (like braces with rubber band :D) 3 btw he gave certainty to your recommendatorys :D :) after 48 hours i will be a girl who has braces and an aHmazing boyfriend!! =))

 The rubber bands can be taken off and should be taken off when you eat and in your case, kiss. All the rubber bands do is attach on from one bracket to another, and can be taken off at anytime. You get a little baggy full of them. So no worries, your kissing will not be effected by it because you won't even have them in.

If you're talking about having rubber bands that stretch from the bottom of your mouth to the top of your mouth, it could make opening your mouth a little difficult. Also, your rubber band could snap mid-make out. In that case, if you and your boyfriend are really close, it should make for a really good laugh. It happened to me. When I was fourteen, I dated a boy for sex months and we both had braces, but nothing bad ever happened. So relax, honey. It doesn't hurt, haha.

 when i got my first kiss, i hadd braces, but not with rubber bands. my boyfriend however, had braces with rubberbands. he never complained or said anything about it bothering himm. so i think you should be fine. i was always scared that our braces would get locked together. but the dentist reassured me that that would never happen. hope this is what you wanted to hear:)) gooood luckk.
