As for having sex in a car: I think that may vary depending on the situation. If a couple traveling around the country stop somewhere and have the urge some where quiet and private in nature, I would think it is different circumstances then a couple in a steamed up car somewhere in a car park. So, I think depending on circumstances it may or may not be a sign of desperation.
As for how many times a week a couple should have sex to call it a healthy relationship: I don't think it is as much the quantity as the quality that is important and I do not believe what is norm to one couple is necessarily the same for the next. However, I would suggest, enough to keep both parties happy and satisfied.
I read on the internet today, there is a reverend Young from America that is traveling preaching in the UK at the moment and this weekend in Sandton SA, suggesting that couples should have sex at least once a day. Well, apparently some of his congregation members said after 5 days they started needing extra vitamins.(lol)
I think it is a very personal matter and should be discussed between the two people concerned. Communication between the partners here is vital.Sexual compatibility is very important in a long term relationship and marriage. (Often people neglect this and suffer the consequences at a later stage).
