writes:I was out with some male friends the other night and they all told me every woman they have slept with loved oral sex and had orgasms from it. I just admit I'm not a fan and never feel completely comfortable recieving oral. However I do like the penetrate side and orgasm through that alone. Am I the one that is weird or any other women feel how I do?

 You're not weird. Not everyone likes it and there's nothing wrong with that. Some women have had bad experiences, been left constantly unsatisfied in the past and don't care for it at all anymore or find the sensations to be weird, which is all okay AND it's also okay to love it as well. Everyone is different and what works for one person may not work for the next. That's not weird, that's normal.

 Of course there are other women who are not crazy about cunnilingus ! Some, perhaps many, like it ; some others can take it or leave it, and some actually hate it. No sex act does " it" for each and every woman of this world.
I find it humurous how is it always °men ° who pontificate blissfully confident about what °women° really like sexually- or should like.
As if women weren't able to know their own sexual tastes and preferences- and should justify them or explain them in case they differ even slightly from the majority's choice !
Research shows that about 30% of women can climax from intercourse only. The other 70 % need other stuff done for having an orgasm, stuff that includes, but it is not limited to, cunnilingus.
There's nothing wrong or strange with you, OP. Also considering how many guys have absolutely no idea of what they are supposed to do down there, YET at the same time seem unable to follow directions... to a point that, ,if any, it is quite surprising there ARE women who love to receive oral sex !, ( but that's anothery story altogether.. )

I wouldn't say I completely dislike it with my boyfriend but I know I'm never completely relaxed and I doubt very much I would have an orgasm through it. He never liked recieving oral until he met me, he said he found them 'icky' but he says he likes me doing them as he likes how I do them and I like giving him them. I guess I'm probably different to a lot of women in that sense then, thank you again x

 There's nothing "weird" about it. We are all different and our bodies all react differently to things. You are probably "unusual" (not weird) in that you can orgasm through penetration alone. Many would think you are very lucky.
Some women find the feeling of receiving oral sex too intense, especially if the giver's only "instruction" in this area is from porn films where it's all "fast and furious".

Also, I cannot speak to what ladies in Europe may or may not like. I am an American, and my dating career began in 1969. Thru the years, I have been intimate sexually with appx 70 women, all Americans, and None of these women ever turned down the opportunity to both give me oral and to receive oral, from me. Please know that I am no trying to brag! In fact, I am ashamed of my behavior as a youth and a young man. My post is very subjective, but for my generation it would not be uncommon. The time period was the Free Love movement, but everything has a cost. All of that, to say this: Do not be swayed by my opinion, or by your male friends opinions! I think the chances are that most people (in general) would like the sensations of oral sex when done well by a partner they are very comfortable with and trusting of. However, there will still be many people who do not like it or are indifferent about it - just like there are those who enjoy, don’t enjoy or are indifferent about giving.

Otherwise it's a long, drawn out process where you end up faking it in the end or you can teach him how to do it properly. I love receiving oral and I love giving oral to my partner. I think it's part of the whole sexual experience. And I'd feel like I was definitely missing out if it didn't include oral sex.
