A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I really need some advice before this kills me.

In november i got mild thush whilst i was on holiday, i couldnt find any thrush treatment and i was in turkey so i didnt really want to guess what i thought was thrush treatment. When i got home most of the symptoms had gone, so i completley forgot about it. I only had the cottage cheese like discharge and it would itch every now and again, maybe once a week.

Then in january i got with my boyfriend (who has been amazing through all this!) and when we started sleeping with each other i started to get pain in my vagina when he first entered me, and then it would start to burn after about 15 minutes and then feel really uncomfortable afterwards. My boyfriend is very large down there and quite thick so i put it down to that.

Then the pain got so bad i couldnt physically have sex with him and then my other thrush symptoms came back, and i realised what it was. I treated myself for thrush and within 2-3 days everything had gone, the discharge, the painful sex, the burnining sensation during and after sex, the itch, and i noticed my vagina was now a light pink instead of a inflamed red.

For the last 2 months me and my boyfriends sex life has been amazing, we have slept with each other nearly everyday, sometimes twice a day. Until the day before i was due my period (im on the pill yasmin) when he entered my i had the same pain, i put it down to my body being ready for a period, being swollen etc

Then a day after i had finished my period me and my boyfriend slept together and it really hurt. I had the burning sensation and the pain. and then the next day i had the worst thrush ever. It was itching like crazy and i had all the symptoms. I treated me and my parnter for thrush this time. (on tuesday i treated us both) My itching stopped and the discharge, but i noticed that the inside of me was now quite sore to touch.

Last night me and my boyfriend tried to have sex, when he fingered me it hurt and it burnt afterwards, and then when he tried to enter me, i got a exrcuitiating pain, and it burnt. I screamed, and my boyfriend pulled out of me. Next thing you no im bleeding everywhere, and when i looked i had a tear in the outside of my vagina opening. Now everytime i touch my vagina the tear re-opens and strats bleeding.

I have to wait 11 days to a see my female doctor, im so worried about what is wrong with me, i slept an hour last night, i feel sick to my stomach and i also feel really embaressed that i coudlnt have sex with my boyfriend. He doesnt mind and said he doesnt mind. I got quite upset that nothing goes right for me, and told him to find someone without any problems, and he said that he didnt want anyone else, he wanted me with all my problems.

Anyone have any slightest idea what this could be? anyone gone throught it or seen a questions similar. Ive convinced myself ive got a cancerous tumour and that im going to die. stupid but i cant help it.

Anything! i mean anything will be a great help! Thankyou.

boo22 agony auntSweetie you don't have to wait 11 days to see a doctor. Ring the surgery tomorrow and demand to see a doctor. You don't have to explain why to the receptionist and you can demand that a doctor phones you that day even if you can't get seen.

If you're not into that idea then go to your local accident and emergency. You will probably have to wait a couple of hours cos other people will be priority obviously but a doctor will see you and prescribe something.

You haven't got cancer hun, sounds really uncomfortable and inconvenient though. Get it sorted !! xx
