I found out I was about two months pregnant, about 2 two weeks ago. I went to the hospital two days ago because was having a cramp on my left side for ten minutes straight and had a light to medium brown discharge. They told me that I will miscarry and that when they did an ultrasound, they didn't hear a heartbeat. This is my first pregnancy. I haven't had any more bleeding or cramps, my boobs were still sore and my ankles hurt. My question is do you think i have a chance to carry my baby full term if the doctors told me it was a miscarry? Do you think Is it possible i still have a chance?

i just want others input or other experiences if they had any.

I think you need to go to an OBGYN immediately. This story doesn't sound right because if you were destined to miscarry the doctors would have caused an early labor/ abortion to terminate the pregnancy because it is safer to do it in the hospital than wait for you to do it alone because there is a chance of complications that result in either you not being able to have another baby or death from blood loss. All doctors would avoid that by helping to terminate the pregnancy. Go to the OBGYN get an emergency visit so they see you tomorrow and find out what is going on. It might be as simple as needing prolonged bed rest, but I am telling you something doesn't sound right.

Code Warrior agony auntI feel so sad for you. My wife miscarried our first child. I will say a prayer for you and your baby.

God please bless this woman and her unborn baby in their hour of need. Please give her baby the strength to survive and grant her the strength to see this through. If you must take the baby into your bosom please bless his mother with the faith that her precious child is with you in heaven and also bless her with your infinite love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our savior who lived and died so that all men, especially this child, could enter into the kingdom of heaven. Amen.

God bless you.

Nightingale agony auntFetal heart beats generally can not be heard until the 9-10th week of developement. Usually it more like the 12th to 14th week. So it is odd an obstarician would be looking for one. So it is hard to say I think you need to talk to your own doctor because it is not the lack of hearing a heartbeat.
