hi aunts i wonder if you could please help me.

Sorry its so long.

There is this guy that i REALLY REALLY like. ive known him for years. i used to be good friends with his sister in school(we still speak). im 18 and hes 19.

The problem is though, i asked him 1 night, when me and my friends were at the pub for a quiet drink, what he thought of me and he said he thought i was "a very nice looking girl".

We have kissed loads of times and get on amazingly well. but he says he also likes another girl who i dont know. He flirts with me and i flirt back so surley if he didnt like me he would say something about the "obvious" flirting!?!

Also we went back to my friends last night for a party and he stayed the night, with me!

Nothing sexual happend we just sat having a drink for quite a while then i fell asleep on the couch (on my own, as he was upstairs with my friends boyfriend) but i woke up later on to find i had a duvet over me and i looked round and he was cuddling up to me on the couch aswell. he looked so peacefull and i couldnt help but just sit and look at him and run my fingers through his hair! When i did that he gave a little smile.

then he texted me earlier on today after we all went back home that he enjoyed spending time with me and that he had a really good night.

the thing i want to know is that

Do you think that we have something between us?

Is there any hope of us getting together as a couple?

Should i ask him out?

Do you think he would say yes if i asked him out?

Please help aunts.

X

starfairy agony auntOk, first of all, why is it NOT a good thing he said you were a very nice looking girl?

The thing with guys, is they can very often, especially at that age, find it hard to express how they are feeling, or to express how they feel about someone. Especially if you asked him in front of other people, it's not 'manly' to be open about stuff like that for some guys.

And ok, so you've kissed, you've flirted, he likes someone else, so make your move before she does! If he liked her better, surely he'd be with her. Sounds like he's shy with girls though, not the type to make the first move.

Oh, and I have to say, HOW SWEET!! He put a duvet on you while you were sleeping - he is a keeper!

If he texted you to say he had a great night - He is so into you.

The answer I think to all your last questions is YES!!

Let me know how it goes...x
