 Oral sex is, for the majority, very popular with boys. But I think they prefer the whole thing just as much if not more! But it entirely depends on the person. I'm sure your partner will appreciate oral from you if he likes it.

The excitement of oral sex is the woman being willing to take it in her mouth and swallow. It's like - she must love me if she wants to swallow that stuff. It's especially exciting if she just looks at me and smiles and doesn't run away for something to drink or rinse her mouth. That makes my wife much better and more exciting than a woman who is better at doing it, but runs for a glass of juice the minute after she finishes.

If pregnancy is putting you off sex there are ways around it and perhaps putting it down to fear of pregnancy is just avoiding the real issue of you not enjoying sex. Oral is good for most men, as a woman i don't find it particularly satisfying, but nothing compares to intercourse, even if youre just considering the intimacy of the act. I think you need to address the real underlying reasons for your aversion to sex. I may be totally off the mark here but I hope i'v helped.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 April 2008): Nothing can replace intercourse really. That's why you can become pregnant from it. That's the way we were intended to be intimate, and will always be the way. Although oral is also enjoyable, it just doesn't do the trick that actual sex does.

reader, anonymous, writes (19 April 2008): As I've said so often before, in my humble opinion receiving a blowjob is a vastly overrated pastime which in general doesn't do much for me and normal intercourse is far preferable.
I think for a lot of men it's the thought that their woman would be willing to subjugate herself in this manner that is the attraction rather than the act itself; being in the dominant position, if you will.

 I don't think a man can answer this question for other men. This man will prefer oral sex and that guy over there won't. Some men don't want their significant ones performing oral sex, as they consider it degrading. Some other men would want oral only.
I don't think any man would spend, say, three years without vaginal intercourse. So, in the long run, I think you would have to worry about pregnancy anyways.

Being inside your partner is a different kind of enjoyment to receiving oral sex - the movement of intercourse involves the whole body. I don't think most men would be happy with just oral even if it were very good.This is, of course, looking at the man's perspective only. Your enjoyment of sex is just as important as his. Sorry if I'm asking you to consider too personal a question - is contraception more of an issue than your gratification?
