Honest Answer agony auntIf he is not wealthy, and they were roses, I would say yes (very expensive on V.D.). Just my opinion.

Good Luck!

Honeypie agony auntNo it doesn't necessarily means he is serious, but it means he knows what effect giving flowers has on most women. We like them. (flowers that is)

And flowers on V-day is a scored point in his favor .

Not necessarily, but it does indicate he's thoughtful and considerate and a gentleman.

chigirl agony auntIf he gives you flowers on your one month anniversary of dating... he might be serious. Then again this might just be a sign of him being a gentleman. It's all positive, don't get me wrong.. But be careful with reading any meaning into it.

A female reader, person12345 United States +, writes (15 February 2012):

person12345 agony auntYou're reading too much into it. It means he likes you enough to buy you flowers. It's obviously positive, but that could be anywhere from "I don't dislike you" to "I really really like you." There's no way to know from such a gesture.
