Is this the truth or what I'm not sure. My friends think he is blowing me off but he is a straight shooter type I think he would tell the truth. "HELP" what does this Text mean?

Then he goes, don't read too much into it. That's not exactly the answer of interested in you person. He sounds aloof. Forget him.

 It means he is BUSY - might be a "I can't talk right now" - I think he knows you better then you know yourself, because he made SURE to SPEND the time telling you not to read more into it.
Yet, here we are.
I would just let him know to CALL you when he has the time. So you can TALK, maybe you will be less worried with hearing his voice and not trying to "decode" his texts.

 Ha, thats funny. He asked you to not read anything into it, and then thats exactly what you do. He must know you well, since he knew you wouldn't just trust him. A this drama. Your friends are really not good friends to insinuate that he is lying to you/blowing you off. They dont know him! But you know him. So when you say he us a straight shooter... Then jyst take his word for it and stop reading so much into it...!
