writes:My question is can a month long relationship in junior high REALLY be a person's first TRUE love. My gf and I wre talking and she says a guy she dated then was her first TRUE love but I dont think a month can constitute that. I sorta believe that instead of it really being her first love its just that she still has some feelings toward him shes not over and just tells me its cuz it was so serious to make it not sound so bad. This lasted about a month and was about a year ago and Im the 2nd guy shes dated since then and weve been going out for five months. Should I be concerned about this? Reply to this Question

 Sounds like she doesn't know what she wants and jumped into your relationship too soon. She needs to figure out how she really feels on her own, and this may bring you down, but may also affirm that she stopped dating him for a good reason. Give her space and be there for her, but let her know your feelings matter as well. Good luck.
