A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

hi there so thers this girl i like, i have a crush on, i dont love her its just a crush, even to be friends would be more than enough for me (i suppose we are friends, b ut id like to be good friends, not just friends)

so we arranged to meet up one day and she stood me up, so obv i was upset and annoyed so i messaged her and she completely opend up to me telling my bout her personal issues and deppression stuff like that, so i opend up aswell about my issues, i felt it brought us closer as friends and that we trust each other, i said the old 'im here if you need me' line, wich i do honestly mean because i have been in the same boat as her befor so id be glad to help her.

but the problems lies here - im friends with her friend as well so me and my mate asked her out (her friend that is, ill call her 'R' and the girl i have a crush on 'A') we invited R out to the pub for a drink and a game of pool, and she brought A with her, i wasnt going to complain, so we picked them up in the car and went to the pub had a laugh, and R's other friends turned up and convinced her to go with them so she did, and left A with me and my friend, so she was fealing down as her friend ditched her so we cheered her up slaged R of, ya know all that to cheer her up, and she texted me saying it was a good night blah blah lets do it again (this point im thinking great i can get to know her better) so the following day she asked if we was up to anything... wich unfortunaytly for me we were, we were playing football so couldnt come out, so we arranged to meet up on the wednesday wich is when she stood me up and had a heart to heart with me wich i wrote above... but my mate is using R for sex so she has been coming out with us every night, he drops me of first then goes of with R ;) and so A had ago at me saying im 2 faced and all this crap because we have been with R when we slaged her off for ditching us... but clearly i cant tell A that were with R for sex can i?!?! and now its all gone pear shaped shes been funny with me not relying to me on facebook and texts, but i realy wanna go out with her not R id choose A anyday of the week and ive told her this, but i dont want to seem a pest and message her everyday asking her out and trying to find out whats up with her and stuff so what do i do?

so basicly could 'A' be jelous?

can i win her back?

and how do i keep her as a friend and invite her out with out being a pest?

sorry if its too long and doesnt make sense , thank you :)
