dear cupid,

soo, i'm kind of confused. i was reading the back of a bottle of nair, and up at the top, it said that it could be used on the bikini area. then, i kept reading, and it said that it couldn't be used in perianal/vaginal/genital areas. soo, like i said...i'm confused. does that mean that you can't use it down there at all, or does it mean that you just can't use it around your actual vaginal opening??? and are there any other hair-removal creams specifically for the bikini area that you can use on all parts without worry???

person12345 agony auntIt means you can use it on the bikini line but cannot use it to remove all the hair. You can use it on the skin that would be out of your bikini, but anything covered by the bikini is too close to very sensitive bits that you can burn with Nair.

I've used it 4 weeks prior to going to a nude beach- and yes, on my penis. It worked great, but like JMC said, on the delicate skin (men have a lot less of this than women!) it did start to mildly burn.

My wife elected to go get waxed, but I didn't want to have to go get a full body wax. Nair worked fine.

I use the cream for genital areas and it works perfect. just be careful with the pink area, I use a diaper rash cream (with zinc) to cover the pink area so it doesn’t burn at all.

It means on your inner thighs and then skin folds between your leg and labia. You can also use it on your lowermost abdomen where your pubic hair might start. But you definitely DON'T want to put it on any of the soft, pink tissues inside your outer labia!

The Realist agony auntThat means that if it gets to close to the vaginal area it will probably burn alot. A friend of mine tried it once, he wanted to get rid his pubic hair and he said it burnt so bad he would rather have it waxed.

If you have never used one of the creams before definite try it on your legs or somewhere not so sensitive to make sure you won't react to it. I do beleive they do make specific sensitive skin creams but I don't think they make one specifically for that area. Your best bet would be to wax or shave rather then turn to harsh chemicals.
