Clitoris pain, what could this be?

Question - (15 June 2009) 3 Answers - (Newest, 15 June 2009)
A female United States age 30-35, *gurl19 writes:

So i have a question about the clitoris after oral sex...

After the stimulation i know that the clitoris stays a bit swollen and sensitive to touch for a few mins to a few hours...But the problem is now that it has been 2 days since that and my clitoris is still very sensitive to touch, to the point of where it hurts to even touch the tip. I did notice today that when i retract the hood, i can see a bit of a brighter pink streak right in the middle of the clitoris. So i was thinking that it might be the reason that it hurts, but what is this, and why hasn't it gone away?

It was not there before, so what could have happened during oral stimulation that might have caused this?

thanks!

MonicaC agony auntIf your partner puts too much pressure on it, the clitoris can actually get 'sprained,' believe it or not. This happened to me quite a while ago with one partner who was a little too ardent in his attentions to me there. We had to lay off the sex for a short time and it healed up normally.

LRKLMH agony auntGo to a doctor! Maybe it is just sensitive, it maybe an STI, it could be a cut or a simple infection... I don't think anyone on this web site knows exactly what the problem is, seeing as how no one can look at it, even if someone has something similar it may not be what you have. see your doctor. Or go to a free clinic there always happy to help!
