Morning wood has nothing to do with being aroused. You certainly can get aroused and awake with a hardon but not all hardon's are caused by being aroused.
Think of it as your nipples, they get hard as well for no good reason.

 Three cheers for sleep orgasms!!! LOVE THEM!! Except, waking up really bites. I've had sleep orgasms where I actually wake up to find myself (eh-hem) touching myself. Little more info than you need, I'm sure but, my point is, yeah, you can absolutely have orgasms in your sleep. Enjoy them:)

At the point of a normal orgasm he might shout out something like "Oh God!!" but with the realisation of just having had a wet dream it's more a case of "Oh bo****ks - now I'll have to change the sheets!"
