To keep sex from hurting, make sure you take it very slowly. Lots of foreplay. The reason I was asking is because my main worry about losing my virginity is bleeding and it being painful- I was hoping I could stop that from happening somehow. I use tampons, so does that mean it's broken? I read something on the internet earlier today about "why sex is often painful for teens" and one of the points mentioned something about the uterus being further down (i cant explain it) or something which apparently makes deep penetration painful, sorry to be graphic but basically when I masturbate with my fingers there seems to be something in the way, I thought maybe that could be what it is? It's quite painful when I touch it... sorry if that doesnt make sense. Please help, I'm really worried!

To elaborate further, you're still considered a virgin until you have had a penis in your vagina. Fingers don't count.

 I think you might be able to although you'd need to apply a hell of a lot of pressure.But why would you want to break your own hymen?Is it so that the next person you sleep with wont know your a virgin?If so-theres no need!Every woman needs to lose their virginity sooner or later and theres nothing wrong with being honest about it.If anything you should be honest with a potential parnter because its not breaking your hymen thats the main problem!I hope you realise that it may still hurt on your first time because you have a penis stretching your vagina. and whether or not your hymen is already broken theres a chance you could bleed aswell, so i think its really important to tell your partner because if you dont, there still might be tell-tale signs that show him your a virgin.Alot of things will break your hymen anyway, for example:Using tampons or exessive excercising like horse riding.
