can you be 11-12 weeks pregnant without actually realising? I have been feeling out of sorts lately, tiredness, being uncomfortable at night, very slight nausea etc. This past week when i put my hands in my jacket pockets n feel my belly it doesn't feel the same as normal, although it would be too early to show. I have had a period since unprotected sex but my periods are irregular so i'm unsure if mine was 'normal'. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I haven't done a test as i was quite sure i wasn't pregnant but now i have a niggling feeling that somethings up.

i was 6 months pregnant before i knew. somethin's up with my hormones, so i dont have a regular period. i rarely get them. i got lazy and didn't take the pill (which regulated my hormones, causing me to have regular periods). i had sex. i didn't show or anything until i hit almost 6 months. at the beginning of my pregnancy i did feel nauseous and sick, and i vomited alot, but i thought that was just stress. i went to the doc for a blood test and they never got back to me so i assumed it was negative. so yeah. it's totally possible.

Cindy303 agony auntI was nearly 8 weeks pregnant before I knew it. I even took three over the counter pregnancy tests and they all came out negative. Even though I missed my period twice, I still had no idea. I ended up at the hospital with slight pains and they did a test and it came up positive within minutes. The whole thing was beyond shock. The best thing you can do is either buy a test and take it, or make an appointment with a doctor and have them do a test for you. At this point, if you are 12 weeks or so you could be heading into your second trimester with no prenatal care. If you have the feeling you are, take the next step and find out so you can start proper care. Will you come back and let us know what the answer is? All the best, good luck to you. Cindy

Unfortunately it is very possible to be pregnant and not know. the simple answer is take the test. Either its negative and you've saved yourself the stress or its positive and you've found out early enough to think about your choices. Speaking from experience, a pregnancy scare takes on a whole new light when you find out its all for real so just do yourself a huge favour by getting your information straight.

Periods are real tricky things and can be as regular as clockwork, then suddenly change for no reason. You also often get some "break-through" bleeding during pregnancy so this is nothing to go by. Trust in your natural feelings, if things feel different then take a test and either start dealing with the consequences or put your mind at ease. hope that helps.
