EFM94 agony auntIt's completely normal don't worry! I already know what Im gonna call my kids and how I'm gonna decorate their nursery and Im only 21! I can't wait to become a mother but I know deep down I'm still really young and there's a lot of things I want to do before I'm responsible for a child!

You sound very family orientated... A great quality to have in this life therefore you will be a great mother when the time comes. However you're only 14 that's sooo young you've got your whole life ahead of you. There's plenty of time to settle down and have a baby in this life! Go have fun for a few years first and carry on being an amazing auntie! :)

followtheblackrabbit agony auntHi! Don't worry, it's normal :) I was the same at fourteen, I could not wait! I thought of baby names, looked at the cute little clothes in the baby store and had daydreams about a little son or daughter. For now, be the best auntie you can! Enjoy your sister's kids-babies naturally love who they feel love them and spend time with them. They will adore you :) it's not time yet for your own. Having babies too early can be traumatic to both body and mind. Besides, when you have kids, I'm sure you want to make sure you have enough money to buy them everything they need and actually get to spend time with them. I am in my twenties and I love kids, would have one tomorrow if I could. But I met girls who had babies too early and it's so hard. Young fathers are barely any help (have you seen Teen Mom?) I think I found my special someone but we're both still at college so no babies yet lol Enjoy being young and enjoy the babies already in your life. Love them and care for them but be happy you can give them back to their mom so you can enjoy being a teenager :) Seems like you'll be a great mom when the time is right!

A female reader, chigirl Norway +, writes (27 April 2016):

chigirl agony auntIts a phase. I was the same when I was 14, I was craving a baby so badly. It's hormones! They fill up our bodies espceially around the ages of 13-17 we are so pumped up with hormones we can barely think a clear through. The hormones are preparing your body for a baby (growing boobs and hips, getting your period...) so your body is full of the hormones telling you now's the time to get a baby!

But, the intense craving will pass as you grow older, and you are able to make a more rational choice, rather than a choice made by raging hormones.

Great to hear :))))

Please do not lose that feeling. You would make a great mother someday.

However...As a great mother, you want the best for your baby right? How are you going to do that if you have a baby now? You don't have a good job, a home of your own to raise them? And the boyfriend you have now may not even want kids.

So to be the best mother you can be for you and your baby...get a really good education, so you can get an awesome job, and a good home to raise them.

Remember...good parents always look out for the best interest for the children...not themselves. :)

Keep looking after your sister's children, and get as much experience as you can for when your are older. AWESOME :)

A female reader, aunt honesty Ireland +, writes (25 April 2016):

aunt honesty agony auntIt is just the nurturing side of you, it is totally normal at your age, when you have hit puberty and you have hormones flying around everywhere.

You have your sisters children to babysit, so make the most of that until you are old enough to have your own. You love them like an aunt does and that is great, it is also good practice for you for when you are older.

The thing is these feelings will pass, you just need to accept them. Please do not try and get pregnant because babies are stressful, they need all your time, a lot of money and a lot of attention. You would be unable to go to school or get a job. You would not be able to hang out with friends. Their is plenty of time for you to have a baby of your own, but for now enjoy babysitting. I promise you won't feel like this forever, the feeling will fade.
