okay well hi,

i know this is nothing to do with relationships but i cant think of another way to find out.! basicly, ive been gettin really strange dreams, its now half past midnight and ive tried to sleep twice and i just cant!

when i lay down and turn the lights out, i worry, eveyrthing starts rushing round my head, ill start off worrying about something stupid like (for example, tonight) i went out with some friends and i left my purse at home, in my mums handbag, but then all night it was on my mind, that i had a condom in it and what if mum found it! then when i got home she didnt talk to me much.. but she was probably just tired, but then when i laid down and trieed to get to sleep, i started thinking.. i cant help it! i started thinking about my purse, then why she wasnt talking to me.. and then what if's... and it ends up getting to me worrying about stupid things like (i met up with a guy i like a while ago...) but then i start worrying about why he hasnt spoke to me hardly since... and all these crazy thoughts come to me. and i know its pathetic!

i just cant help it. and i end up imagining things happening.. like what it would be like if i moved out now.. had a baby.. its horrid! i just cant stop my imagination runnin wild on me. n then when i finally get to sleep im awake every couple of hours! but i dream the same thing most nights, its strange,

the dreams are different but they're set in the same place, its a masssivee house! theres about 150 rooms, but theyre different every time i go in them.. sometimes ill go in and cant get back out. or sometimes im getting chased around it, and im running for my life!! but i jus cant go anywhere, i dont move no matter how fast i run, n then i get caught by soemthing, and i wake up, n then im up for the rest of the night! or sometimes they're set in random houses! like a few nights ago i got arrested, for being in someones house at like half 4 in the morning, id never seen the house, the people or anything, and there was no reason for me being in this persons house.. but i got arrested for it! its strange, but this one particular house is weird! and i know i probably shouldnt say anything on thiss site because its nothing to do with relationships..

i just wondered if there was anyone who understands what dreams mean.. or weather there even is a reason for them?! im sick of been too tired through the day! thanks. and sorry (: x

CaliGrown09 agony auntin college ive learned that dreams have to do with what your going through even though they dont relate or make sense at all. i think what your going through is the fact that you dont know if your mom saw the condom in your purse.. leading for you to think about other random things... making you not sleep.. & if you do.. you have weird dreams! what i do is that i dont hold stuff in so i dont have to wonder, "what if's". because that just drives me insane. whatever your worried about on a day, in general, do something that would make that "what if" go away. for example.. talking to your mom about the condom. your 16.. 17.. she has to have something in the back of her mind that your carrying around one of those.

Dazed~Confused agony auntI'm not an expert or anything, so I can't comment on the meaning of your dreams, but it sounds like you are suffering from stress and anxiety. You probably need to talk to someone, and your doctor might suggest anti-depressants.

If you don't want to go that route, you can try a few things.

1) Try and have a routine at night. Get into bed an hour before you want to sleep, but don't watch tv or be on the computer, at the most you should read a book.

2) your room should only be associated with sleep in your mind, therefore no tv or computer. Don't lie in bed unless it is to sleep. Your mind needs to make that connection.

3) Some people, myself included, cannot workout in the evenings. My adrenaline stays up for hours, and if I exercise or am too active too late, I won't sleep.

Essentially you have set up a routine where your mind has a chance to settle before bed.

Also, try and think what may be causing you any stress or anxiety and try to address that.

Good luck.

niki20 agony auntdont be sorry. dreams are what the sub concious think. the house and everything is probably reprsent the thoughts that go through your mind. at night lay down and try and count from 100 backwards, try not to think of anything else. i use it and dont dream. usually dreams dont make sense and there is not a specific explanation for any one specific dream. your subconsious is probably cofused and truthfully a little overwhelmed.
