a doctor or a gyn can tell if you are a virgin or not and doctors are not allowed to talk to anyone else about your private area's (even your parents) in less YOU say its OK
your parents arent even allowed in the room inless you say its ok..

Obviously she would expect you to do something like that sometime soon.

Actually, both those previous answers are incorrect. It is very hard nowadays to tell whether you are a virgin or not. The only way the nurse will be able to tell is if you have regular sex, as this stretches the wall of the vagina. The old myth was that if the hymen was not intact, this meant that you had lost your virginity. But the hymen can break naturally, through sport or just wearing a tampon. Also, it is your choice as to whether you have sex or not. Not your mothers. Just be sure that you are completely ready, because it is something that is very important to a girl. I should know, i lost mine and i wish now i had waited.

Yip the gynecologist will be able to tell if you are a virgin or not, don;t know about your laws, but here, the gyni will be able to tell your mother should she ask.
I suggest you wait and not do anything as yet.
Also do remember when you do decide to go ahead, SAFE SEX, please use a condom!

if your' really ready for sex with your boyfriend, then why not wait 'til you've actually been to the doctors?
sorted.
If you don't want to be found out, then its the simpler option so it doesn't cause any complications.

They can definately tell if you ar a virgin or not, but I don't think they would tell your mother unless there was a very good reason for it, ie you was pregnant or had caught an infection or something along those lines, or if it was for a legal matter.
Perhaps use the appointment to speak with the doctor in private about your future sexual health and protecting yourself properly.

Yes your gynecologist can tell whether or not you're a virgin. But what's discussed between you and your doctor should remain confidential unless it's serious and your mother needs to know.

The gyno can tell but in America she cant tell your mom anything but I'm not sure about your country. If you have used a tampon though you will not have the tell tell sign of being a virgin. Also why are you going to the gyno if you are a virgin? The gyno will look at your cervix and uterus to make sure everything is ok if you are really a virgin then the gyno will have to break your hymen or the tell tell sign of being a virgin to do that exam.

The Gyn can tell if you are a virgin, don't know if she could tell your mom. I'm thinking she could because she is your legal guardian and you are a minor (it can be in your best interest). You'd have to look for the local law regarding this matter in your country.
Good luck!
