Problem with that is this... what if he's fine with you watching it? Then when you say "please don't watch porn" he can say- "why not? you watch it..."

The responses to this article may help you understand why he looks at porn. Bottom line, there's not a great chance that he'll stop, so you can either try to understand and accept it, try to compromise or try finding a guy that doesn't look at porn. By all means you can try to get him to stop completely, but often that just means he'll just get better at hiding his habit.
