A male India age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Hey guys,

So me and my girl friend had Safe sex but the condom broke.. Although i did not come inside her but i have her the MORNING EMERGENCY PILL within 24 hours..

She had a complete 5 day normal period this month.

She had gone for tracking last week.. She told me that her panty got strained two days ago.. It was just a little spot of blood. Her mother told her that it might be due to exertion..

I would want your comment on whether it can be a result of exertion and continuous work out.? Or should we fear pregnancy.? She also says she has lower back pains..

Thanks..

It's not pregnancy if she's had a period. Have you fingered her or anything since? Because if it was rough then that could cause a little blood. Also sometimes periods are weird and just do that - I've had a period for a week, spotting all the next week, then another full period after that! Or her Mum could be right - it could be exertion.

But I hope you have learned from this that condoms are not totally reliable and you should use another form of contraception like going on the pill at the same time =]
