 There is theory that missionary is a good position for conceiving because a "cup" is formed at the cervix where it meets the vaginal wall, which hold the semen better, allowing for a higher rate of conception.
Also, part of that theory is also that if the woman orgasms, particularly a vaginal orgasm and not clitoral, then the cervix actually throbs, which dips it down into the "cup" of semen, further increasing you chances for conception.
But don't stress over an orgasm. Making babies is supposed to be fun. You could consult with a fertility specialist, and see if they have any suggestions.

 Well think about gravity - sperm have a pretty tough job to get to the final destination without having to battle gravity too! So if you are on top, then it will be more difficult to conceieve because what goes up must come down!
Whereas if you are on your back, ideally with your hips raised (so nothing can escape!) then you are more likely to get pregnant. However any amount of sperm, even tiny amounts is all that is needed to get pregnant. Some people even put a pillow underneath the woman's hips during intercourse so penetration is deeper and then the woman stays in that position for around 10 minutes afterwards so that the hips are still in that raised position. This could help but none of this is fact - there are no proven positions to help you get pregnant.
So I would say just have fun trying for a baby, try lots of positions and if you are still not having any luck after about 3-6 months you may need to visit your doctor.

 i think all thats a myth b/c i concived girl on top. as long as cum enters the vagina your fine, but if you want to lay on your back w/a pillow under your butt and have sex like that let him finish and stay that way it couldnt hurt. good luck
