I know it may seem babyish, but i loved barbie! so she means alot to me and this theme relates to me alot. but one of my friends reckons people can come as like 'pregnant barbie' and 'slutty nurse barbie' and stuff like that...to make it a bit more funnier...i need some more ideas of different types of barbies please! thanks alot. also any other ideas about how to decorate and stuff like that would be appricated. and oh how do i convince those who might not want to dress up, to do so? I'm not sure if this will be approved, as its not really related to relationships as such but I thought since you guys are so great at giving advice ill give it ago! Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (27 January 2006): we did Barbie for our school muck up day and it was great - we had girls who came on roller skates as skating barbie, girls who came in gowns as glamour barbies, a girl came as doctor barbie, another as flight attendent barbie, vet barbie, nurse barbie etc etc etc
Check out a barbie fan club site and they will have all the different barbies over the years and you can print them off and distribute them amongst your friends for ideas.
In nearly 50 years barbie has had all sorts of looks and careers so there is something to suit everyone.
Its a very cute and fun idea so make it yours and make it fun!

 How about calling your barbie party "The Forgotten barbies." Tell your guests they can come if they wear basically any outfit with a long blond wig, blue eye shadow, and red lipstick. IE: Gangsta barbie, Goth barbie, alien barbie, and so on. As for party decor, you can get barbie plates, napkins, cups, tableclothes, at your nearest Party City and maybe some barbie favors. For the walls, pink streamers...barbie reminds me of glamour so I guess lots of glittery items couldn't hurt. Don't forget to play the "Barbie Song" by Aqua. Hope this helps!
