How many woman out there cant stand the "oh babe, is it that time?" Come on you know what i mean, right!? I hate being asked that question. Most of my guy friends ask me everytime i start, to complain. Some dont bother cuz they know not to ask me stupid questions...they'll get a stupid answer. I know it sounds mean, sorry. The rest of my guy friends dont ask cuz ya kinda figure. Knowing me half of the time i keep quiet cuz i know whatever i say next is gunna be something mean. but i just want to know how many other women hate hearing or being asked that.

MissWendlemoot agony auntI think sometimes men say that to try to dismiss legitimate complaints.

Not every complaint is because of PMS. Sometimes the guy is just doing something stupid and we're calling him on it. :)

LazyGuy agony auntWomen suffer periods, men suffer women.

Deal with it.

Women seem to think that being a man is just one long wonderous life filled with nothing but pleasure, freedom and lack of any hassle what so ever.

Oh okay, so that is true, but that puts a terrible burden on us! So please, next time you have cramps and feel sick and messy, keep a thought for the guys in your life who are having none of that and so are missing out as they an never truly appreciate the goodness without the badness.

A female reader, michelleAKAmandi United States +, writes (5 September 2008):

michelleAKAmandi agony auntI don't let it bother me anymore. I use too, but now I merely warn them before they can ask!! I simply tell them I can't stand myself today, so I definitely can't stand you, so don't go away mad... just go away!

or tell them you're not doing nice today and tomorrow isn't looking good for them either!!

I do know exactly what you mean! Men have the irritability and short temper that comes with a period, they just don't have the worst part of it that we do.

I SOOOOO wish they had to experience it for at least 12 months.

Hit them with it, before they have a chance to say anything.
