Are We Still Friends..?

This boy who i like dont seem to want to talk to me.. He know's i like him and is on a 'Break' with his girlfriend who he loves dearly, i can accept that. He doesn't answer my calls or texts, but is talking ok to all of my other friends. Is he doing this because he doesn't want me to try it with him while he hasnt got a girlfriend, because i won't. How do i tell him that though? Can anyone help me?

A male reader, lupa-k United Kingdom +, writes (26 April 2007):

Perhaps he feels he needs to get to the end of this 'break', and see how it goes before committing to anything else. Although you say that you wouldnt try it on with him in that situation, maybe he doesnt know that, especially as he knows that you like him. The best you can do is be totally honest to him, make it clear that if he wants to talk (as friends) that you are there for him, and that his friendship means a lot to you while you respect his relationship with the other girl.

Good luck with it, and you seem to be handling it all in the correct sensible way
