Are we just lovers?

Hey guys,

So I've been in a 'relationship' with my man for almost 7 months now and it's kind of an odd relationship. We live apart and I work from 2pm until 9pm and he works from 3am until 2pm so we don't see each other in the week as by the time he finishes work I'm about to start and by the time I finish work he's in bed as he has to be up at 2am!

So we only see each other at weekends and sometimes we don't see each for about two weeks if one or both of us have work that weekend but when we are together it is so amazing, we tell each other we love one another all the time and we really do.

But are we more like lovers than two people in a relationship?

Our current situation is fine at the minute but I know it wont suit me in the future and I can't see a way around it even if we lived together we wouldn't be spending proper time together!
