Are we in a rut... Or more than a rut?

A female , anonymous writes:

I am going out with my boyfriend for 1 1/2 years we are now deciding to buy a house together. He got very drunk one night and ask me if I thought we "Light one anothers fire" I didnt answer and ask him if I light his fire and he said sometimes. He also told me that he loved me very much. This is now playing on my mind as to whether it is wise to make this commitment of buying a house together when he feels like this. At times I have to admit I am not turned on by him, I am just wondering is this a rut we have got ourselves into and maybe we need to make more of an effort or has gone past this?

Toria agony auntSounds like your just in a normal rut I don't think it's anything bigger to worry about you just need to put abit more effort into the relationship.

As long as you both still love each other than thats really the main thing, all the other things can be worked out around that.

Try not to let the fact of buying a house together take over everything stopping you making time for each other.

Good luck :o)
