Question - (22 September 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 22 September 2010)
A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So my friend I reconnected after so many years, we went out in high school for like a month, purely innocent. So now, we have gone out to the movies and dinner twice he has treated and he is such a gentleman. But, we text like 24/7 and tells me that he doesn’t text much, but with me he can do it all day, and he never gets bored with me, he has a great time. The thing is that he told me was that he is not ready for a relationship in a conversation we had, because I have hinted that I like him, and he has hinted that as well. However, I told him I wasn’t either, I just wanted to take it slow, and he said that he might say that he is not ready but anything can happen in the future. Am just a bit confused we have so much fun together, and he told me he’s planning an outing with me at a theme park during the month of Halloween. We flirt slightly, he’s so sweet and caring, he calls me his nerd (and tells me good night my nerd and sweet dreams? He’s really shy, am always initiating communication tru text! What can I do? Should I stop texting him! Give him space!???

A female reader, rosycheeks United Kingdom +, writes (22 September 2010):

Definately, give him space, if he is interested, he will persue you. At the moment, he knows you will be there whenever he texts. You need give him the picture that he may miss out, and he will discover if he does really like you or not.

He does at the moment, obviouly, but you need to become a little distant with him.

Just busy yourself in the meantime, and try to hold out a bit longer with the contact! ;)
