Right i know a lot of people say this but i am SERIOUSLY in the same situation in fact i've wrote on ehre today my question is just afew questions up nfrom this one about the fact that i've fell in love with a friend and its doubtful we could ever been together! He's really outgoing and socialable, he will talk to anyone, hes not the most confident guy in the world but hes really socialble and everyhting and i've been getting loadsof mixed signals, mainly from stuff i've either heard or may have "thought" i heard and the fact that he seems to look at me a lot. but anyway im sorry i can't really answer but now someone else seems to be having the same problem i guess yeh they can be really shy, i know one of my friends likes this girl, hes not shy at all but won't speak to her at all.

Dazzerg agony auntAgreed, there are no hard and fast rules as to how people react but it is certainly not impossible that somebody who is outgoing would go shy around somebody they liked. Often outgoing people lose their confidence when they are confronted with real and strong emotions.
