Hey people, me and my girlfriend will have been going out a whole year at the end of this month. I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas of stuff I could get or do for our anniversary :)

So far I have the idea of an amazing scrapbook, paying to have a photo shoot of us, taking her to dinner somewhere amazing etc but no really good ideas.

Bearing in mind she loves meaningful things from me, but also like stuff she can use too :p

Any ideas would be great :)

Me and my boyfriend went to London the first month of dating and it was great. So for our year Anniversary we're going back to London for the day :D. Mines at the end of this month too.

I like the scrap book idea. That's really nice and thought full. I wouldn't mind my boyfriend having nice/creative idea's as such. Just remember to buy her flowers too!

$izZle agony auntfirst of all happy anniversary... :) and yes this does mark a very important event in both your lives and is very significant ... life is not about how many moments you live but, what makes those moments worth living

so it is important that you make this a moment to remember ...

i do agree with dear Ms. abcxyz xD that's a funny name for a girl btw :P writing a letter sounds like a heart throbbing idea to tell her how you feel about here and how she she makes you feel special however, i would rather go with a nice photo frame to go with the fotos :D from the foto shoot.

and when it comes to buy something for her it should be something that will make her smile not just buy something cheap :P im sure she already has pillows xD just kidding :P

i was thinking more on the lines of giving her something from the heart something that reflects her interests ... like for example if i had a girlfriend and lets say she is interested in traveling and fact finding ... i would gift her a model tajmahal...

http://objsam.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/taj-mahal.jpg

thats the link showing tajmahal ... it was built by a mughal king shah jahan to show his love for his wife xD so giving her something like this is meaningful as it tells her how important she is and gives an opportunity to see how you feel bout her :) and you could explain to her the significance of this symbol also

as for the usefulness of this item she can use it as a paperweight or as a decorative item xD ... what do you think ... im sure Europe has a few such structures that you could relate to her or maybe something that relates to how you feel about her :) good luch btw....

I love the ideas that you have! I am a PERFECT gift idea person. Ive been with my boyfriend for 3 years (next month) and...I can think of some really kickass, meaningful, cheap, gifts of all time.

I'll give you some ideas on what I did for my man (but kinda mix it up a bit for a woman)

Buy a nice comfy pillow at walmart, buy a plain and normal white pillow case and go to the craft section in walmart and buy iron on printer paper. Get a picture of you and her (or..maybe just you...) print it out on ur printer, and iron on the photo! She can see you every time she goes to bed and every time she wakes up! and can hold you through the night!

Go to build a bear, buy her a really cute bear, and get a recorder and record "I love you" or..whatever you want to say! they have the recorder inside the bear!

I'm not sure if ya'll are sexually active..or if you are comfortable doing this. But...buy some cute underwear and iron on ya'lls initals Example "LL & MB" or something.

Make her a tshirt, get it made, or make it yourself. Maybe get it to say "(your name) is my prince charming!" and in big letters ya'lls annvir. dates on the back. It'll make her smile and giggle!

Buy her a nice pair of flipflops (or whatever kind of shoes she wants), and decorate the shoe box with construction paper, and put letters on the top that says "I'm glad you walked into my life"

Get a basket and just fill it up with all her favorite goodies. Like...favorite perfume, body lotions, body wash, underwear, sleeping ware, candies, drinks, jewelry, movies, music, a picture frame of the both of you, or just you. etc..

Go to the dollar store, buy a really cheap puzzle of any kind, (try to make it easy, and do like a 50 piece), and put it together yourself, paint it ALL white...go to the arts and crafts store and buy "glow in the dark paint", and paint a picture or a sentence...and let it dry, and then break it apart, and give it to her. Then you and her can put the puzzle pieces together and turn off the lights..and let her see ur hidden message!

Thats all i can think of right now, i know i have lots more, but i hope this helped alot!

Those ideas what you have sound fantastic!

...what about writing a letter to her? Telling her how she makes you feel, how things have been throughout the year and your feelings...It's personal and straight from the heart :)

What about a special piece of jewellery aswell?

Happy anniversary

I like the scrapbook idea man. It shows a lot of thought, effort and will mean a lot to her.

Scrapbook and a dinner somewhere nice. When I was your age I didnt have a lot of money - I had a part time job at weekends that paid crap so I did things like that, went on a lot of picnics! Ladies appreciate you making an effort and most people like something different.

Enjoy!
