A male India age , bharat mehta writes:

Tantra is a word belong to ancient Indian Sanskrit language. This word has been used by scholars in many ways, such as [1] It is used as a religious way with the ideas of god and goddess or deva and devis, temples, prayers, meditations, chanting mantras etc, in such meaning the title terms tantra is almost loss, and general Indian people have no ideas about Tantra at all. [2} In not religion, but as a van guard of religion there exists a system termed as yoga, which lead mystical-spiritual ideas with tantra, but yoga give great importance to yogasan, they take it as a therapy, but some ancient texts like, patanjali's Yoga-Sutras, and Mooni Tiru-Mular's " Tirumantiram" speak about tantra, but it is mixed with ascetic ideas. No modern yoga teachers teach tantra is fact. Still there are way, this term is used, but it is almost miss-used hence, I do not wish to say anything about missuses at present.

But, I propose to use this word 'tantra' in philosophic sense in the context of science, which I will try to explain. In ancient times Tantra is practiced almost by different type of ascetic [YOGIS] in communal settings. They keep this knowledge as secret from general public. By general public, I means the public who live family life, in husband-wife relationship. And, I wish to make it popular amongst family person. I myself is living family life, and many years of my life was without knowledge of tantra, and at certain point life begin with knowledge of Tantra, which I also wish to share with others, as what difference such knowledge can make.

By Philosophy I mean a science of 'wisdom' [Greek's definition], based on non-contradictory vision about true nature of things and of beings. Here wisdom is power of mind that value the things, which has inherently life sustaining power. So, in such philosophic scientific context, I propose to present tantra as a POWER OF LIGHT. { which is power of pleasure or happiness one gain through following certain system} So, now it will be a series of articles which will express the entire system.

So, let me begin with saying something first about meaning of the word 'tantra'. What specific object this word refer in reality? The word is composed by two different word, tan and tra. By, word 'tan' refer sex organ. There are many similar word in sanskrit language like, sharir, deha, kaya etc. the suffixing word 'tra' refer the state of sex organ, which has hardness, tightness as in a state of erection. means, it is about male sex organ in erection. Yes, the word refer male sex organ in a state of erection. Naturally such meaning is most embarrassing, and no one can lead such meaning in society or in public. And, really tantra is not at all social. And what ever is not social, it cannot be religious also. It is about individual, about private life an Individual used to live.

Here, I wish to take break, to prepare other articles which will say more thing about meaning of this word, and of course about a entire system.
