Hey everyone,

I've been seeing a guy for about a month now and things were going great. I'd stayed over a couple of times, he was really affectionate and caring and we got on really well. Last night, I stayed over again and today all we did was watch motorsports all day! Literally 9am - about 4pm. He was tired and a bit quiet and i just felt a bit awkward. Am i overreacting when i say i was a bit annoyed or should i just accept this as it's his hobby? I know this is probably a dumb question but I like him but am a bit put off. He goes in quiet moods quite a bit and says i have too much energy for him too in the bedroom (in a jokey way) but i'm starting to think can we be compatible. He is really lovely and i really like him but any advice?? Thanks!!

Ask oldersister agony auntWhy would you stick around watching motorsports all day when you could be doing your own thing? That's the only thing I see wrong here. While he watches sports, you can be out exercising, shopping, seeing your friends and that way you'll have a more balanced relationship overall. Your boyfriend shouldn't be your whole universe, you know?

Things sound as if they are off to a good start otherwise!
