Am I in love? Should I talk to her about getting back together with her?

A male United States age 22-25, anonymous writes:

There is this girl that I have feelings for and these are different than what I normally feel. We dated for a while and broke up in December and I never stopped having said feelings. We have been talking every night since summer began for an average of about six hours (we were texting, not that it matters). We have been able to open up to each other more than we used to. We have talked about hanging out soon. What I feel for her actually surpasses every other logical thought I have against her. Am I in love? Should I talk to her about getting back together with her? Does she think of me just as a friend? What do I do? What is going on?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (23 March 2014):

Yes, think your in love! But you need to start talking and seeing each other, tx is flirty and fun, but its not real and until you spend time together, face to face in this relationship is not real and probably stopping you doing healthier things that are. I would be brave and ask her out on a date. Try and turn your tx friend into your girlfriend. I expect she has been wanting the same thing, but the fear of seeing if its going to really work had stopped you both and perhaps made you both a bit lazy.
