writes:I have been wondering about my sexual orientation for quite some time now. I understand that doubts about your own sexual identities are common for teenagers, but I am already in my 20s and this question has lurked in the back of my mind for many years. For as long as I can remember, I am turned on only by women's body, and never men's. I would masterbate to porn movies that have a degrading theme to females. I cannot achieve organisms when having sex with my current and past boyfriends, but I am emotionally attached to all of them. Now I have never been emotionally involved with any girls, but I have been physically attracted to the more tom boyish lesbians. Are the above indications that perhaps I should explore the other side of me? Or is it common for straight women to be turned on by other women's bodies?

 Speaking as a guy...if I were born a woman I would be a lesbian. Ain't no doubt about that! SO yeah, its perfectly all right to love the female body even as a female.

reader, anonymous, writes (26 November 2007): i believe tha most women, if not all, experience attraction to other females at some point. so it's definately a common thing whether people admit to it or not. you could quite possibly be straight, though i read somewhere that a useful test for determining our orientation centres on masturbation. gay people fantasise about their own gender while masturbating whereas hetersexuals think of the opposite gender. though this might not determine you're gay because it said heterosexuals can have occasional same sex fantasies while masturbating. it's said to be a quite accurate way to help determine ones sexuality. it makes sense though that if your mind is full of images of females while masturbating that you're attracted to girls and most likely a lesbian =] if you come to a conclusion that you are a lesbian don't feel ashamed! be proud of your self for who you are and your real friends will be the ones who are there with you at the end. i came out to my male best friend about two months ago, and my female best friend last night and they both took it extremely well, alot better than i had imagined they would. except i knew all along my male best friend would ( what can i say, guys are guys =P). looking back at it now i wished i'd read that thing sooner because i gave up trying to think about guys when i was 13 and if i had read it sooner maybe i might have questioned my orientation AGES ago until leaving it until more recently. i must of thought it to be extremely common to think of only girls in that way because im wondering why the hell i never questioned ages ago ^^. though for me i didn't end up being straight, but just do what feels right and take your time while questioning (there's no big rush ^^) and wait untl you're comfortable before coming out if you determine you're a lesbian. best of luck!! i hope you will be able to find something helpful in here and the other replies you're recieving to help you! xo

 Yes its common for women to be turned on by other women. Its natures way of protecting the species. females of every species can survive without males as we are the reproducers, if all the men of the world died out we would evolve and be able to reproduce without them, there is a name for this but for the life of me I cannot remember it.
Ther is no harm in trying out a female raltionship, you may enjoy it, even if you only hook up with some girl in a night club for a night and try it once, at least you would have your answer sexually.
In short, all women ae bi-sexual, Its against natures laws for men to be though, but that doesnt mean Im against mm relationships, I say each to their own. and though I myself have never slept with another woman, It doesnt mean I cant have the odd fantasy, just like evry other woman on the planet.
If your not with a guy right now, give it a whirl, find a like minded woman and see what happens.

 just because you like girls bodies instead of boys doesnt mean your not straight.i think its ok because your used to boobs and ass on a girl more than a boy because you have boobs and an ass as well and guys dont.dont worry.maybe you can be bi sexual and you like girls and guys but its your decision.masturbating to porn is nothing new.it just turns people on its nothing bad.so dont worry you can be whatever you want.:)
