Some may stop at 16 some will stop at 23 or 24. it depends if you have average small or tall parents and the age you was when you had your puberty growth spurt. For example my parents are tall 5'7 and 6'2 3/4. i had my puberty growth spurt at 10.5 years of age finishing at 12. at 5'5. how odd is that.lol. and i continued growing very slowly up untill the age i am now which is 20. and i am still growing now at around 6'2. and i beleive i still have a way to go yett my chest is currently beggining to broarden out and growing taller and putting a bit of weight on too. i could be 6'6 by 22 or 23 years of age. so this thing about stopping at 21 is wrong. we are all different and my growth pattern is very rare i dont no any of my friends with that acsept 1 girl who had 2 growth spurts one at around 10 other at 17 i could be folling that same trend but a male version. if you have had your puberty growth spurt at average age already 14-16 and your parents are average then your looking at around 5'11 - 6'0 by age 19 if they are tall then about 6'2.

Anyway you are not that short, i think the average height for males in the UK is something like 5'10 but then it would vary on your family background and race...
and remember, good things come in small packages!!

How do they do it???" looks I get when I walk around with a guy over 5'10."
Don't worry, attractiveness to women (if that's why you worry about height) has more to do with whether you're caring, interesting, and take care of your looks. I hate to spread stereotypes, but I do find that women are less visually oriented than men are.

On average most males grow upwards untill they are 18 and outwards untill 21 (filling out). Dont worry about being short because you are average now so just think you cant get smaller so why does it matter? I worry about my height because i dont know when im gonna stop I've grown an inch since new years. I already cant buy jeans long enough in a shop because they longest inside leg they do is 34inches and im almost 37. YE DONT WORRY JUST SAY THEY ARE OVER AVERAGE.

Sorry, totally misread your question. Yeah, you are about average but you still may grow. Honestly, most girls like taller guys, including me, but the guy I ended up falling in love with was shorter than you and it didn't make a difference. I would focus more on how you carry yourself and making sure you are physically fit.

Guys like small girls, it makes them feel "powerful". Believe me, I'm about 5'4 and weigh around 105 lbs, and how little I am has never been an issue. It's been the opposite so I wouldn't be worried about the height thing. Don't go wearing super heels either, it will look funny and just bring more attention to the fact you don't like your height. I have 2 friends about your size and they are both married to over six footers, it works out quite well.

Being tall can be an advantage with some ladies but as long as your average hieght then you got no worries, the avergae size for a UK woman is just over 5'4 so your not going to get many girls taller than you at 5'9 even wearing 3 inch heels so you ve got nothing to worry about. Im not blowing my own trumpet but I was cock of my year at school and had girls falling at my feet from the age of about 12 when i was only 5'6, by the time i was 5'9 i was 15 and have not grown since but I was still always the most popular boy in my year at school and there was 200 in my year, then at college again i was very popular and at university it was a different girl every night. At 26 i shave my head because starting to lose my hair and i still get loads girls wherever i go, im currenty going out with an absolutley stunning girl who really is very beautifull. I am a good looking bloke (well so im told) but Im no brad pitt but I can still get the best looking girls, its all about confidence mate. Girls love a cocky confident bloke who can talk to them not someone who's worrying about their looks and height. besides your worrying about nothing your average height.

I dont see what you have to worry about be just over 5'9 alright it might just be average height.I on the other one am shorter than average,i reached a height of 5'0 when i was 14.I never grew another inch so aint you the lucky one.My 2 younger sister's are taller they reached 5'6 and 5'8,my oldest brother reached 6'4 it dont make sense. If i need any help my older brother is usually on hand that helps me.He even stands up to people. My 2 younger sisters love me the way i am and still call me their big brother, even though they have 6/8 ins on me.I was told when i was younger that i wouldnt grow too tall, the doctor said i would be lucky if i reached 4'10 so they cant always tell can they. Now i am alot older the only thing i am looking forward to is not shrinking too much has i try to check my height every 6 months. At my last doctors check up my height measured just a smidge under 5'0 so i cant see anyone complaining abot rounding the figure UP hey.My mum and dad were 5'7 and 5'8 so i couldnt really see why i ended up this short if we are supposed to take after our parents. But HEY i ended taking after my grandmother who was 5'2 now she is 70 plus years old and she has shrunk to 5'0 so she even still has the edge on me and i probably wont be taller than her due to us both shrinking. In our pics they are pretty funny has i stand one end and my grandmother stand the other end we looked like a pair of bookends lol lol.Least we can laugh abou it hey.

A person is really what is in his, or her, heart and mind, not how tall we are. And a loving, caring man, or woman, are pretty tall in my book. Just forget about those 90% others, And being a man, or woman, is more about our relationship to others, not about our height. And to love others must begin in the Self-Love of who and what we are.
