writes:Why do I feel this way?All my life I hated the idea of having children and saw babies as messy, noisy and annoying little humans and now all of a sudden it's all changed and when I see a guy I am really attracted to (not 'love' but just a crush) I wouldn't fantasize about having sex with him but it's always about marrying him and having a baby. Why?When I think about having a baby, it's always a baby boy, I think about it quite a lot and have dreams about holding a baby boy or actually giving birth to a baby boy. Are there any 16 year olds who feel the same way?I don't tell this to anyone or else they'd think I'm weird. When I'm walking down the street and see a woman with a baby I just think "I wish I had a baby". I'm 16, I don't need that kind of bagagge, then why do I feel that way? I've even thought of baby names and they're all male names like: "Isaac" "Aidan" "Aidrian" and more.

Oh dont worry, all my life ive dreamed of having kids, i used to pretend i was pregnant at six years old!! I've always dreamed of them, and i used to name all the kids i'd have with my crushes, but i was younger than what you are. Not that that makes any difference because i believe its something a lot of girls go through! Its just a girly thing. But remember not to act on it til youre much older, the last thing you need is a baby!

its human nature, just dont let your feelings dictate your behaviour. be logical-at your age your unprepared to deal with a baby and the likelihood of a father your age staying around is low, a baby would rob you of your youth.
a much better idea is to find a friend of your mums who has a young child and offer to babysit the child. this way you satisfy your need to be around a small child and you will also see how annoying they can be. you'll feel pleased when you get to give them back even if the time was enjoyable and it will put the responsibilities of childcare in perspective and may earn you money and make you look good in the eyes of you parents (which is always usefull).
i have a very broody side and babaysitting got that out of my system for now at least.
good luck
